Asclepias tuberosa-butterfly milkweed is a member of the milkweed family. It serves as a larval host for Monarch butterflies. It is native to eastern and southwestern America. The blooms are orange and are long lasting. The blooms can last for about two months. This milkweed gets about 2' tall and about 1 1/2' wide. USDA hardiness zones 3-9. Plant in full sun. It prefers dry to medium moisture. This particular milkweed may not bloom the first year planted but should bloom after that year after year. You will receive 30 plus seeds. Germination information will be provided in the packet. All seeds are harvested from my flower gardens. The plant the seeds come from are non gmo and organically grown.
