WHAT WE DO
We are a farmers market that operates a little differently than most! Every week, and all year long, we connect you with local food from dozens of small farms within 80 miles committed to chemical-free growing practices. We help farmers save time and transportation costs so they can focus more on farming while providing YOU with exactly what you want in the amounts that you want. No minimum order amounts, no huge payments upfront, and no middle man. We simply hand you the products you ordered and allow you to cut one check instead of multiple. We hope you will enjoy this pretty nifty system to purchase straight from sustainable growers all year long! See our FAQ page
OUR GROWERS
We prefer Certified Organic or Certified Naturally Grown farms and personally visit each farm before approving. Not all growers are required to have certification but all growers are committed to not using any synthetic chemicals on your food or the surrounding land.
WHO WE ARE
This market heavily relies on volunteers and is a project of the Georgia Mountains Farmers Network, a grassroots nonprofit bringing together farmers and customers within a 13 county region since 2010. Our mission is to collaborate on projects that increase the impact of local foods in the region and our vision is a thriving local food scene that supports sustainable farms and customer choice in Northeast Georgia. We do this by building community, continuing this year-round farmers market, and public farm tours.

HOW IT WORKS
Our approved Farmers use the market page to list what they predict will be ready for harvest that week.

There is a small annual membership fee of $20 per household to help us promote local food projects in the region and help cover our overhead costs. You are welcome to try us for three orders before officially becoming members. We welcome donations to sponsor a membership for those in need.
