Goats at Little Toccoa Creek Farm browse the pasture and fence row all day. They eat hay cut and baled on the farm and are fed New Country Organics soy free corn free feed.

Per Georgia law, my container must be labeled for pet use only. **Please bring something to transport the milk to maintain the cold temps needed. ** Milk is packaged in a food safe, BPA free poly stand-up bag that easily fits into fridge. Most people find this easier than the plastic jugs we formerly used. *Farm pickup also available during the week* 1/2 gallon of fresh raw goat milk from our herd of friendly Nigerian Dwarf and Lamancha goats. I use a milking machine to keep the milking process as sanitary as possible. All supplies are sanitized after each use. Milk is then put in freezer to chill as quickly as possible. Our goats are on monthly milk testing which means the milk is measured for protein, butterfat and also somatic cell count to monitor the health of the goat. We also do home testing of somatic cell counts as an added precaution. It is recommended to keep your milk as cold as possible to prolong freshness. Our goats have access to forage during the day and supplemented with grain and hay as needed to maintain a healthy weight. We feed grain on the milk stand and alfalfa and lespedeza hay for optimal milk production. We treat herbally as much as possible but will treat chemically if the life of the animal is at stake. Delicious mild breakfast sausage from pasture raised, heritage breed hogs. No nitrates or sulfites. Only natural ingredients: pork, salt, sage, red pepper, sugar, and black pepper. All of our pork is raised on pasture and provided a supplemental ration of non-GMO and soy free feed. We rotate our hogs to fresh paddocks regularly where they enjoy a fresh dinner plate of native forages. Regular moves allow us to raise our pork without the use of medications or chemicals.

If you think lard is more unhealthy than butter, un-hydrogenated lard has less saturated fat, more unsaturated fat, and less cholesterol than butter and none of the trans fat found in shortening and margarine. Sliced fatback from pasture- raised pork fed supplemental non-GMO feed. Fry it up or render for cooking. Pork lard seasons cast iron skillets better than anything. It also makes a wonderful Polish smalec.
