We are all about growing the healthiest food possible! We use compost and mulch with absolutely no chemical or synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Weeds are controlled by minimal tilling practices, heavy mulch, and good ole fashion hand pulling. Our lettuce is protected by fly screen to minimize pests and we also practice proven companion planting techniques to reduce parasite pressure. All the food I grow is consumed by my wife, two sons, neighbors, friends, and myself and grown in a natural way to provide optimum nutrition.
We strive to provide an exceptionally stress free life for our livestock by raising them in the most natural ways possible. Our cows and chickens are moved daily to fresh grass and our pasture raised pigs are rotated regularly as well with access to forest, pasture, fresh spring water, and a supplemental ration of soy free and non-GMO feed.
