These small white eggplants are called garden eggs in Ghana; they are served in peanut butter soup over rice.

We raise our hens in large mobile paddocks with an open, mobile roost. Our pasture raised birds are moved daily to fresh grass, weeds, seeds and bugs. We provide them a supplemental ration of non-GMO, corn free, soy free feed.

Feel a cold coming on? This elixir can help shorten the duration with elderberries, ginger, calendula, rose hips, orange peel and mullein (lung tonic). Brandy is the base for extraction and honey is added, both which are calming and soothing to irritated tissues of the respiratory system. Since this contains honey, it is not for use in children under the age of one year old. For adults, we use 1-2 dropper full up to 3 times a day at the onset of cold or flu. Some of the ingredients like calendula, elderberry, ginger and mullein are grown on our farm. We enjoy making small batch remedies in our certified kitchen on the farm.
