Taylor Creek Farm is a small, Certified Naturally Grown farm located in Toccoa, GA, run by Chuck and Michelle Taylor. At Taylor Creek Farm, we aspire to be a model of sustainable, chemical-free food production within our community. We believe that plant and animal diversity is critical to farm health and a balanced ecosystem. We believe the same applies to human health, so we strive to grow a diverse selection of vegetables from the very common cabbage to purple peppers and orange okra. Healthy soil is the key to growing healthy plants, so we focus our efforts on maintaining a healthy soil ecosystem. We utilize techniques such as crop rotation, cover cropping, and interplanting along with the use row covers to minimize pests and diseases in our crops. We started farming a small plot of land in 2011 and have been slowly growing since then. Each year we learn a little bit more and cultivate a little new ground. We are currently farming about 2 acres of land.
