Old variety of beautiful red and green pods! Shorter, thicker type (not spineless). Great flavor right out of the garden. We enjoy these best fried - try our SLIME FREE recipe! Meg's NOLA fried okra: Slice okra thinly (1/8"). Soak slices for 20 minutes in milk. Drain milk, roll in corn meal (we add cajun seasonings and salt here) Fry until crisp, drain on paper towels. Eat immediately!
