All-natural, grass-fed, shoulder roast, @ $10/lb. A good way to cook perfect pot roast is to salt and pepper both sides of the room-temperature roast, brown both sides on medium high heat, add some steak sauce and a sliced onion, then cover the roast with water. Cook over night 8-10 hours at 200 degrees. Indian Creek Angus beef comes from organically-raised, grass-fed cattle, which means that our cattle eat nothing but chemical-free grass (supplemented by chemical-free hay in the winter) their entire lives. We do not finish on grain, and we do not fatten on grain. Our beef is 100% grass fed and grass finished. Our beef is dry-aged for 14 to 21 days, which makes it more tender. In addition, because of dry-aging, you purchase just beef and much less water than beef that is not dry-aged. Dry-aged beef has a more robust flavor as well.
